Reverend Manuel Bailey

Born in Wilkes County, Georgia, Reverend Manuel Bailey has been a part of the Lincoln Co/Lincolnton Community since 1981. A member of New Hope Baptist Church since 1982, Rev. Bailey began his ministry as a lay preacher for New Hope in 2019, becoming ordained in 2023. He also works as a diesel mechanic for Mike Thornton Trucking in Washington, GA.
Rev. Bailey and his wife, Mercedes, were married in New Hope Baptist Church in April 1999. Both believe the Holy Bible is the infallible, inerrant Word of God. One of Rev. Bailey’s favorite verses, Isaiah 6:8, was a strong influence on his call into ministry.
